SHE DID IT--KELSI HALL GOING TO OLYMPIC TRIALS!

The most prolific sprinter in YHS/YSC history has added an impressive achievement to her swimming resume. Kelsi Hall has qualified to compete in the 50-meter free at the 2012 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS!

The 21-year old senior-to-be at the University of Miami roared to a runner-up finish last weekend at the Southern Zone Sectional meet in Gainesville, Florida. Kelsi's 26.06 in the 'A' final put her under the trials cut of 26.39, after she posted a heart wrenching 26.40 in the prelims. This young lady is a talented and determined athlete who just won't taken no for an answer, and she proved it again a week ago. Bet against her at your own risk!

Kelsi's parents, Tom and Shari Hall, say she has her confidence and swagger back. And that should strike fear in the rest of the sprinters in the Atlantic Coast Conference for the 2011-12 NCAA season. She's gonna make a strong run at an ACC championship and a berth in the NCAA Meet next winter, folks.

Until then, way to go, Kelsi! See you in Omaha in June of 2012.

GO TIGERS!
